ndeli55
has anyone on this site ever heard of a air fuel ratio gauge that is screwed into the spark plug's threads, if i remember correctly its a british design, that i stumbled across a while back. i could of swore i bookmarked it but it looks as if i have lost it. i have been searching to no avail. any help would be greatly appreciated. ps. if i remember right it had a glass tube or some kind of chamber that changed from green to red or blue as the a/f mix changed. Evan Purple240zt
I had one, worked fine for setting mixture at idle. Problem is you have no idea whats going on higher in the RPM band when your driving. IMO, buy a wideband O2 sensor if you want to do it right.
