another fast one...oil line question

Recommended Posts

Ive searched and found that when useing a turbo with a na oil pan you thread a little barbed thingy http://www.rittenhouse.ca/content/images/Big/hosebarb=mght.jpg like that, into the top of the oil pan for a return oil line off the turbo... my worry is that even if I seal it it would eventualy leak, unless I threaded a nut to it on the inside, is that nessecary?

EDIT: I already bought the little piece and realized it could have some wiggle room when put through thin metal (oil pan) kinda like putting a nail through a thin piece of wood. I hope my worries are uncalled for

Shouldn't the return line be bigger ?,

I used something very similiar to this with a nut and brass washers on either side of the pan. For now I just have it capped off since I put the motor in still running the SU's, but will be going EFI and turbo eventually.
