J Taylor Posted December 16, 2000 Share Posted December 16, 2000 The reason I'm asking is b/c the clutch in the 280 was starting to slip before the tranny broke again. I have an ACT in my old 84 turbo that I'm fixing to start tearing apart and would love to use it in the 280. The guy I got the car from said he tried a couple of ACT's in it at one time and couldn't get it to disengage. He said it was a problem with the clutches but some guy at ACT seemed to think it was a problem with the old Z's hydraulic system or some **** . ANyone here running one? JT ------------------ 1978 280z with 280zx turbo motor.
