$900 for a Nissan motorsports R-200 LSD reasonable??

There's also PowerTrax and the R200 from an 87-88.5 300ZX turbo.

Try this - do a search on "LSD" in the search bar. You'll find at least a dozen threads on this including some folks trying to get the plentiful but funky clutch LSD out of the later model 300ZX cars into the older cars. That search thing is plenty helpful and I think you'll find that many of us are using the 87-88 rears but that there are a few gotcha's to read up on.

FWIW - I just picked up another cluthc r200 lsd from an 88 turbo - gave up some JWT electronics for the diff plus some money - I paid the equivalent of $250 for it. It has 0 backlash and is in pristine condition - near perfect and it's even barely dirty!

Point is the clutch LSDs are out there and available for $400 and well under that if you look for a bit. I even posted the link to the ad for the one I just got last week in here, and nobody got it! I checked the next day and he still had it, so I grabbed it.

Get a clutch LSD(used, not from nismo) and spend the $1k you save on brakes or something else.

The NisMo clutch LSDs are the LSD assembly ONLY - you supply a gearset, case, bearings, seals, shims, etc, etc, etc and assemble the diff. It will cost you lots more than $900 in the end!
