Guest kc6wfs
Hi all, I just hooked up a HD trans cooler and was wondering what the ideal temp is for running a 700R4? I'm thinking of running a temp gauge for the fluid and having the 10" Spal fan only run when the trans gets XXX temp. Is this a good idea or not worth the time. Right now the 14" and 10" fans come on at the same time 190 deg. I bypassed the radiator trans junk (stock 260Z rad) and went straight to the external cooler. It's 12"X10" or something like that. all aluminum. Also put on ZZ4 centerbolt wire loom holders. I'll have pics of the exhaust and loom holders up tomarrow. Thanks. Guest kc6wfs
Ya that sounds like a good set up. I think mine is a Hayden but it should work just fine... I hope. Would hate to cook the trans!!! Dave ------------------ www.geocities.com/kc6wfs/240z.html
