carusoracer Posted April 2, 2008 Share Posted April 2, 2008 I'm new to playing with the Electromotive System. A friend has offer his old TEC I believe it is the HV1? System with a O2 sensor and the Damper with crank trigger. Herein lays the question of performance and driveability. I have Triple Mikuni's,Recurved Distributor, Pertronix Ignitor and MSD 6AL. I have not had any issues with starting other than my Starter or spark. I'm getting back into running my 240 again after 6 years and was simply spoiled by the dead on timing and accuracy of running fuel injection in my ole' L98 C4. I can not see taking the nostalgia out and running fuel injection but I want to know if the benefits and tune with the TEC system is worth the time over my existing setup. Any thoughts?
