Midnight-280Z Posted April 17, 2008 Share Posted April 17, 2008 Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get my Wings West Turbo whale tail wrapped in real carbon fiber? Not the cheap o' carbon fiber look but the REAL DEAL. The spoiler is made of fiberglass and I remember there was a place that did it but that was like years ago. Since then i haven't been able to find a place but would be really interested to get my spoiler wrapped in carbon fiber. Thanks for the help. TravRMK Posted April 17, 2008 Share Posted April 17, 2008 Clear resin, not gelcoat. You can do carbon fiber overlays of anything. Lay a coat of resin then carbon fiber, and then coat it all with clear resin. It would have to be clear coated with an automotive clear for UV protection. Midnight-280Z Posted April 18, 2008 Author Share Posted April 18, 2008 Well, I spoke with Adam from the place. he told me send him pictures of it so he can give me a quote...SWEET...now more waiting....its okay though....i almost have all my body parts ready to go...all i'm missing is Carbon Fiber ZG flares to complete the carbon look hope they fit with the MSA type 3 body kit though.......
