Guest Anonymous
ok, i know this isn't exactly a Hybrid topic, but I got this problem....I have a 76 280. Need u joints serviced...Can't do it myself, they're the "swedged" in ones. Now, does anyone know a place in the Phoenix area that can do 'em? Only places i've called all told me a either need a new shaft, or new yokes, without the swedged joints

Guest Anonymous
I'm in Tucson and have at least one 240 driveshaft laying around. You should be able to find one in your area tho. Email if you can't find one up there. Jeff
Z-Gad
I suggest going to the local pick-n-pull or consult some other Z guys in your area for a 240z driveshaft. They all had the replaceable U-joints and bolt right in. It'd also save you in down time to have new joints put into another shaft and just swap it in. my .
BLKMGK
Heh, shipping on these puppies from here would be a bear. Had hoped you were closer...
jimzdat
You'd be surpised--I just shipped 2 bumpers off of my 280--total shipping came to 26 bux (including surcharge for oversize)-the key is to not go to those "mailbox" places--they add extra charges all over the place
