lurch632 Posted May 26, 2008 Share Posted May 26, 2008 ok so ive done some searching and i cant seem to find any information on a certain aspect of my build. i have the V07 crank with the 3 slots for the keyway. now i was told i can use my old oil drive gear and crank sprocket. my question is how? how do i safely modify a raised keyway part to fit a slotted crank snout? also im buying a new front damper, can i get a replacement 280z balancer or do i need something specific for the different crank.? thanks for the help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
z-ya Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 Timing sprocket, oil pump gear, oil slinger, damper, and woodruff keys from any L28 will work with the V07 crank.The V07 (LD28) crank is identical to the L28 crank except for the stroke.
