I was rear ended by a pickup truck traveling at about 35mph while I was at a complete stop waiting for a moving truck in front of me make a left turn. She was deemed to be totaled by the insurance adjuster and I received a settlement and was able to retain the car. The good thing was no one was injured during the accident. Thankfully, it appears that the drivetrain and engine are ok. The body and the gas tank took the brunt of the damage. The only PITA is that the driver-side door cannot be opened which is a real inconvenience when trying to move it or whatever. Tomorrow, I am going to go pick up a little something that rhymes with "schmotson boo borty ee". Stay tuned...
