DavyZ
The easiest one I ever did was on a 200SX. I asked my father what to do, and he said to lie directly underneath it after unbolting it, and just slide it back and bench press the sucker to the ground. So I did, with much fear and trepidation--but it was light and easy to do. Blew me away that he was right. I'll not try that with too many American trannys though Davy
Guest Anonymous
Heh heh, we pulled the grannie 4 sp out of my 51 chevy truck and with the floor removed (all bolted in panels, pretty cool) we hooked a chain and my oldest brother tried to hold up on it when we pulled it back, he just about came through the floor and it fell out of there with a thump... hehe, Heavy tranny. Another heavy one was out of a Satelite sebring (68, think road runner looking) its a massive iron 4spd, that just about crushed me and my friend.. whew.. Tranny jacks, worth the rental if you don't have one... Regards, Lone
