What I was wondering was if the aod would fit in the tunnel with the motor set in so that the cylinder heads allmost touch the firewall. As far as I know the aod will work with a carb. Guest jens Posted September 3, 2001 Share Posted September 3, 2001 How much torque/hp can the aod or the improved aode handle without modifications. A 400 hp 351w has got much more torque than a built 302 so im curius as i dont want to pay 900-1600$ for a improved exchange trans.
