Mensaf
Pretty sure it's the float. I'm replacing the fuel tank, fuel lines, and fuel pump. Is the float part of the fuel pump? I know that this is kind of a noobish thing to ask, but I can't find the service manual anywhere to be able to just look it up.
MatMan
Nope, Separate. If the coil resistor isn't broken, you may have to test continuity at the poles. I had a sender that one of the poles was loose, making a complete circuit intermittent.
Mensaf
I've actually got a spare sender with that new tank. Hope it works :-/
