S30 SPL
I bought the quarter window outer weatherstrip from MSA and I don't know which side is OUT. On the weatherstrip, one side is lower than the other side, which side is to be used on the outside? The lower or higher side?? Please help, my stock ones were so nasty that I couldn't tell. Challenger
2+2 or coupe? Pics?
S30 SPL
It's a coupe, 1977 280z with the correct window trim pieces and glass. Unfortunately, the car sleeps at another house and its too late to go back. The weather strip is shaped like a "U", the bottom of the U is to glue to the window frame and then there are the 2 parts that stick up. One side is about 1/2 the height of the other side. S30 SPL
I just got off the phone with MSA and they said that the high side goes to the outside of the car and it should be very tough to push into the location. I think I am going to need lots of soap suds for this one...

Savage42
Yep, high side goes out. I installed mine w/o many problems. I sprayed WD40 on the seals when I installed the inner seal and some on the outer. Makes it easy to move and will clean up & dry easily.
