m4xwellmurd3r Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 they had some pretty good suggestions but they forgot one. the ECU is crap when you want to start adding good power. So that basically throws out being "cheap" out the door (but fast and cheap don't really go together haha) you could do some mild modification to make it slightly faster, but in my opinion, the stock ecu needs to be ditched for an aftermarket like megasquirt. One other quick question what are these "npr" intercoolers I keep hearing about? and are they that much better then a good salvage intercooler. Calgary280ZT Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 Check out the mods in my sig. With the stock ECU I was making around 250 hp. Car had plenty of kick.
