I need a trans rebuild kit but dont know who to go through. . . from what ive seen there not bad to come by but finding the right one is the hard part.... 1977 fairlady 280z 2.8L 5speed 57k origanal miles 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd syncros are tosted due to the fact no one that has drivin a right hand drive car can shift her proper! figured why not rebuild the whole thing while im in there. Also what clutch whould be best? Where should i get it? I want to stroke the 2.8L to a 3.1 so im looking forward to some torque. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

HB280ZT Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 As far as clutch setup look at the bigger Turbo clutch setup 240 mm vice 225 mm. You will find that setup in an 81 or 82 280ZX turbo.
