Trevor, not sure if you only want Maxima info (ie. you got a cheap one) or just a CV solution.

I have a CV adaptor that uses 280ZXT CV halfshafts, project completed and items shipping. CNC made and tig welded to your companion flanges. full info on my web

Hey Ross.

Well i am looking at the Maxima pieces in terms of availablility..... In my local junk yards this weekend there are 9 RWD Maxima (no bolt-on brake caliper brackets - I checked them all), and 3 240SXs but no 280ZXs with CVJ halfshafts. So I just threw out the idea to see if anyone else had found any similarity. I'm sure the comp. flange adaptor-to-the-stubs is needed at any rate

Looking under the hind parts of every Maxima I found, noting the CVJ shafted IRS, got the idea rolling. Never guessed that the differential of a 2 ton sedan was a R-180. Equally moot maybe the CVJ axles are similarly light duty compared to Z pieces.
