Guest dankinzle Posted January 11, 2002 Share Posted January 11, 2002 I just installed 700r4 in my car a month ago and today I go out to drive it and 3rd and 4th gear barely hold at all. They slip like crazy. Before it broke, after driving, I would feel the hoses for their temperature and it wouldn't feel too hot or anything. Pressures were read at the time of install and were normal. 1st and 2nd gear hold perfectly fine. 3/4 clutches or something? I have no clue about transmission internals. Is my tranny dead?
