Guest Anonymous
Got my FI tuned up this morning! Man! Sounds great, if you rap it up off idle it instantly comes up and the whole car will twist on it's suspension. But I still need to get it on a dyno to tune it under different loads. Intersting side note here, the base calibration for the FI is setup for a 350 with the same cam, heads, exhaust etc that I have. According to the Edelbrock manual I should adjust my global fuel variable to +6 for a 383 and be pretty close... yeah right, try 25%, at 6% the engine was big time starving for fuel. Looks like im on target for a test drive tommorow (weather permitting). It's been a great week P.S. hope im not off topic here, Pete and Mike might ding me for this, oh well take this Just playing guys! ------------------ Dan, 78 280Z, 383FI, 700R4 allmost ready! http://members.home.net/dporter1/ [This message has been edited by Dan Porter (edited February 12, 2000).]
MYRON
Dan, Good luck with that 700r4.. Mine has been nothing but trouble. make sure that you have all that extra b/s hooked up before you drive it.. please learn from my mistakes.. be careful setting the kickdown cable and make sure you have the switch hooked up for that stupid lock-up converter.. I am pulling my engine and tranny this week to start over for the 2nd time in 350 miles....
