EZDUZIT
I am in the process of putting an aftermarket O2 sensor on my 84 300ZX Turbo. Does anyone know which wire is the trigger wire? My three wires in the car are Black , Red , and White. The Universal ones are Black and Two whites. The black wire is supposed to hook up to the trigger wire? I don't know please help! Thanks Josh
Administrators RTz Posted September 25, 2008 Administrators Share Posted September 25, 2008 The two white wires (on the O2) are the heater... 12v and ground, no polarity. The black wire is the signal.

Administrators RTz Posted September 25, 2008 Administrators Share Posted September 25, 2008 A sensible man would look it up in the manual or test the red and black wires with a meter. Should be power and ground, respectively.
