Shadow Posted October 17, 2008 Share Posted October 17, 2008 I will be getting my Z in about a week. Id like to have a reliable 300 hp. Question is do I use a l28et or a vh45de? As far as I can tell the l28et seems pretty much drop in to where the vh45de would be much more in depth. The next twist is I already have a VH. I guess im worried about tackling a vh project right now. Is the l28 alot easier to work on? I know its my choice but im torn and would like a little advice. Careless Posted October 17, 2008 Share Posted October 17, 2008 i think a vh in your car would take a lot more work and money than something that just drops right in. transmission is an ordeal. wiring is an ordeal. fabrication is an ordeal. whereas with the L28ET either someone has something you can reference to in order to make 300 hp, or someone will sell you a working plethora of much needed parts to get there on HybridZ.
