Guest Anonymous
I've looked in the archives and must have missed something. I am currently running a T5 in my 77' coupe. and noticed when I hit 85mph, I'm almost redlining!! I don't like that, so I want a T56. 1. What year, make, model of cars are best for a T56? 2. Can I use the T5 bell housing and output shaft setup on the T56? 3. Will I need a diffrent slave cylinder (push vers. pull)? 4. Can someone show me a documentery on this type of install? (Mike's was great, but it had a few holes...sorry Mike ) I am running an N/A L6, but will be running a Turbo L6 soon, so I plan to stay in the L6 family. Not to be pushy, but I can get a T56 for $30 (this weekend only though), so I need to know. Thankx all who responed (in advance). Sean 83ZXT
Nic, take a look at some of sss510's posts. He's running a T56 w/ L6 combo in a 510. If memory serves correct he did need a special bell housing for it to work.
