Guest KraZ4spd
I have been slacking with my project lately, but now I'm back in full force. I have run into a dilema. I'm in the process of doing the CV conversion on my 240. I have dropped the entire rear end out of the car. Took off the A arm & strut assembly. Now I need to now of a 'sure fire' way to break the rear wheel bearing nut free. any suggestions? I'M STUCK!!
pparaska
First, take a dremel tool or die grinder and grind away the peened over portion of the stub axle nut. Next, mount the tire/wheel back onto the stub axle, lay the tire/wheel outer face on the concrete floor, stand on the tire and use a good impact to loosen the nut.
