Guest sabum
On my last 10 passes down the strip I have been getting a vibration on accelleration. it is also slightly there when coasting at speed in gear however, not as bad. When I shift to neutral it goes away and is smooth even @ 100mph+ Any ideas? I was under the car and tried to move the drive shaft and halfshaft joints to look for slop and really could not hear or feel anything. blueovalz
I would check the U-joints again. Any misalignment with looseness is going to show up whenever a large amount of torque is applied. Coast-down just reverses this torque at a reduced level. Make sure the joints are completely free of any restraint when you check them (car out of gear, static ride height, and free to roll).
