Guest Anonymous
Is there any quick way to tell my model year, etc what gear ratio the R200 diff in my 75 280z is? Its a 4-speed manual if that helps. Does it say on the outside of the diff?
dmanzo57
According to the table on zhome.com, it would have a R200 with 3.545 gears. Don
Guest Anonymous
You can always put some tape on the back of the driveline as a reference line, jack up the back, have a partner hold one wheel while you turn the other and count how many times the driveshaft turns. If it turns 3.5 times, you have a 3.54. Or just pop off the back cover and look for the numbers on the gears, divide the small number into the big number and the answer will be your drive ratio.
