jkgts1
Hi, I'm in the process of putting in full length frame rails on my 260z. The frame rails are 1/8 inch thick. Any tips on welding it to the original floor pans? I am using a 110/115v mig welder. Thanks

And if you are using flux-core wire, spring for some gas if your machine will accept it.

tonycharger72
Sweet, Gasless really does make it a lot trickier !!! Make sure you go really nice and slow - also check out my frame rails replacement thread in this sub-forum, fellow gave me some good advice about keeping it all cool when welding!!!
