jknc90
I got an N42/N47 L28e today. The deal was too good to pass up eventhough I'm pretty sure the N42 block has the lower comp, dished pistons right? I figure I could use it for parts at the very least. Could anyone confirm that I have dished or flat-top pistons? Thanks

jknc90
I'm think I'm going to use the fuel injection parts off of the N42/N47 engine on the F54/E31 motor I'm planning. I know I have to notch the ports on the head for the fuel injectors. I'm just wondering if the stock ecu and injectors will be adequate for the higher compression and cam. I also have the round-top SU's off of my '72 and a Bob Sharp 4 barrel, would either one of these options be better than the efi or would they all be about the same performance wise? Thanks for all the help/suggestions!
