LowCarbZ Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 I've heard of some poly being too "rigid" for some people's taste and some have mentioned issues with using them in items like strud rod supports. I haven't had a problem and I have all poly from the firewall forward in my car and I have all the bushings to do the rear-end before spring comes. I keep a close eye on everything though so i'm not worried about it. I got a polyurethane kit for the entire car. What problems could you foresee with them being in contact with the body? I was going to raise the rear mounting for a better drive shaft angle, and found the old rubber was trashed, I had some bushings for 70's chevy truck cab, I cut the sleeve out of the old bushing, then ajusted the bushing size to fit the sleeve and stock mount for the new diff height.
