ckolander
Ok, I have the opportunity to buy an '82 280ZX for cheap. I have my '79 and figured that I would just use the newer one for a couple parts that I need. It does have some rust but if anyone else needs parts and is willing to commit at least in word, I will gladly pick it up and start tearing it down. The guy who owns it said the dash has only 1 crack(over the glove compartment) and it has the "snowflake?" wheels. If anyone is in the least bit interested let me know. Oh yeah the car runs, for the most part, he said the ICM went out. Chuck

(goldfish)
Can you get more info /pics? That's almost close enough for interest.
ckolander
What is a ICM anyway? ICM= ignition control module I'm gonna drive down to bismark to check it out this weekend, if it's in good enough shape then I'll probably pick it up. Not sure how I'll get it back to Minot, but I'm sure that I can figure something out. I'm still trying to convince the wife that it'll be worth the money but she's a born again skeptic when it comes to me spending money. ckolander
Drove down to look at that car today. Found a pile of rust. It turns out that he let the car sit under a pile of snow until thursday when I talked to him. He dug it out, hitting it with a shovel eleventy-million times. When he parked it, he left the passenger window open about 2 inches, interior ruined. Snowflake wheels, rusted and the passenger rear had a notch where "his dad" hit a curb. Motor, covered in oil from "a small leak" that he couldn't find. I decided that it was not worth what he wanted, if I want a rusty, not running S130, I've already got 1 in my driveway. Sorry guys Chuck
