PETEW
Hey guys, I just bought myself a tire changing machine for $200. It is the Coats 30-40A. It is an older model but I have used similar models back when I worked at a gas station (waaaaayyyyyy back in the day). I am really excited to be able to do my own tires from now on. It should save me some money, and I can also make sure no one is dinging my wheels. From what I understand the machine can handle up to a 17" rim. I don't know for sure, but this is what I have been told. I have to find a wheel balancer now. I might just go with a simple bubble type till I can find a spin balancer for a decent price. I really don't know who makes a good balancer and what I could expect to pay. A friend of mine had one to give me a few years back but I had no where to put it, wish that was still available. I just thought I would share my good fortune with you guys. I have a feeling I will become a more popular guy with the neighbors and my friends when they need tires. RB26powered74zcar
Good deal... boy, I could use one of those about now. I hate relying on the imbeciles working the tire machine in my area. I had my CCW's damaged by them, with the air hose of all things, and they had to pay to have one wheels lip re polished.... You scored!! PETEW
Here are some pics of the beast. I should be changing my first set up tires in the next week or two. The Z needs new shoes.
