Guest Anonymous
Is it necessary ( or wise )to change the clutch plate, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and fork when a clutch rebuild is needed? fly wheel facing? each and every time?? or can you get away with inspecting the components and judging what to replace? Synlubes
IMO - YES TO ALL!!! If the fork has been replaced less than 30k, inspect it and see what it looks like! Don`t foreget to change the pilot shaft bushing also! Lube the new one after you install it with some wheel bearing grease! Take a look at the frt trans seal and engine rear main seal while everything is out!
