CrazyZdriver110
Finally I have finished cleaning out the storage unit and arranged my garage to my liking. So now its time to start stripping the 240z down to the subframe and get rid of all the cancer. This is what I have done so far, engine and tranny will be next. Very very happy there wasnt nothing but surface rust here. Will be replacing these fenders with better ones. Plans are to drop in a LSX and t56 after all the rust and body panels are fixed. CrazyZdriver110
I guess its time to update. I have most of the interior stripped, still have the dash left. I have a set of the Bad Dog frame rails made for the V8 swap and still need to order the floor pans.
CrazyZdriver110
Dash and wind shield are removed. Next will be building a rotisserie to make it easier to fix the floor boards and weld in the v8 frame rails. Oh yeah bought this too. CrazyZdriver110
I have the car completely torn down and the time has come to replace body panels. I have to replace the front right frame rail and both floor pans. There is a lot of little rust spots that will need to be fixed with some dents. Complete car stripped, there is a couple wiring harnesses that I haven't removed yet. Here is where I have to replace the frame rail. The PO thought it would be great to hack in just a piece of another frame rail. So I will just replace the entire front right. The floor pans I found pieces of fiber glass covering holes and some very thin sheet metal that looked like it came off the side of a rusty shed.
