Project Crankee 73 240z resto/mod

Recommended Posts

Finally I have finished cleaning out the storage unit and arranged my garage to my liking. So now its time to start stripping the 240z down to the subframe and get rid of all the cancer.

This is what I have done so far, engine and tranny will be next.

I have the car completely torn down and the time has come to replace body panels. I have to replace the front right frame rail and both floor pans. There is a lot of little rust spots that will need to be fixed with some dents.

Complete car stripped, there is a couple wiring harnesses that I haven't removed yet.

Here is where I have to replace the frame rail. The PO thought it would be great to hack in just a piece of another frame rail. So I will just replace the entire front right.

The floor pans I found pieces of fiber glass covering holes and some very thin sheet metal that looked like it came off the side of a rusty shed.
