240zJon Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 I have a 73 240z and it has a mechanical fuel pump on it. I drove it around town and i noticed oil spray on the spark plug wires. It looks like its coming from the fuel pump. Are there any rebuild kits for it or should i just buy a low pressure electronic pump? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MONGO510 Posted May 2, 2009 Share Posted May 2, 2009 New pump should be available. I've never seen a rebuild kit for this application. The oil is probably coming out of the pivot pin hole.
