KenshinX
After coming to a decision against getting cross drilled and slotted rotors. I've decided to get a good set of regular 280zx rotors in the rear and new stock 260z rotors up front. Is there any way that I can prevent rusting from occuring like anytype of clear spray? Or are there specific rotors made of titanium or something that do not rust? My current rotors are warped to hell.
cygnusx1
Some rotors come Zinc coated. The Zinc will wear off the brake surface but keep the edges and fins from rusting. You could try spraying a high temp brake paint on the edges, hats, and fins but that doesn't always last the life of the rotors.
KenshinX
Thanks, I may try that. I wonder if Maxima, 200sx 82-83 and 240sx are the same rotors as the 280zx?
