Owen
Finally found that site I was talking about in the LED thread. "Car makers have shown a great deal of interest in using neon for CHMSL applications because of its safety advantages. Neon's speed of illumination provides an important edge over incandescent bulbs when used in brake lights. "Neon lights 200 milliseconds faster than incandescents, giving a following driver 24 feet of extra stopping distance at 65 mph," http://www.sylvania.com/aboutus/pressrel/press/990301c.html made a mistake in the curve of the front lens though, the curvy lite is a neon filled unit, not a cluster of LEDs. http://www.sylvania.com/prodinfo/auto/non.htm Owen Find some Jeeps and steal their high mount tail lites! ------------------ http://www.homestead.com/s30z/index.html
