Guest Anonymous
I have a few electrical accessories I am going to add to my Z, GM third brake light, rear view mirror with map lights, H4 headlights ect. Question is, some of the lighting accessories I want to use relays with to ensuure brightness but how many relays drawing power from the battery is too many? pparaska
Relays draw very little amperage. Anything that draws less than a few amps is not worth putting a relay on, if it's only for the sake of power/voltage concerns (control issues aside). ------------------ Pete Paraska - 73 540Z - Marathon Z Project pparaska@home.com Pete's V8 Datsun 240Z Pages
Dan Juday
Pete is right on. Use relays for head lights and electric motors. Map lights and brake lights need only a fuse.
