honestly a bigger tb will add throthle response and that is about it on a stock engine, same goes for the filter..

Now if you where to build an engine with a cam, ported head, higher CR levels .. Then yeah a bigger intake and air filter does work.

For instance a stock canon tripple weber manifold outflows (from the top of my head) a stock intake by about 30 to 40 cfm..

What im trying to say is that it is a complete package that works together.

An engine is a big airpump where parts a balanced together to work as a whole. to get more power that whole system has to be 'tuned' so bigger intake means port job, more CR headers exhaust .. and fuel delivery
