Maybe he needs a bulb failure warning system/ bulb failure warning system to make sure his bulb failure warning system is working correctly? Yes, you heard that correctly, the stupid light goes off every time you step on the brakes if you mismatched bulbs by size, type, or BRAND! I HATE that light on my Volvos. Useless! Kevin Shasteen Posted April 6, 2001 Share Posted April 6, 2001 Why dont you Volvo guys just bypass the relay....Dont tell me; if you bypassed it the "Bulb Failure Sensor-Bypass" Relay would sense that it was bypassed & then that "Bulb Failure Sensor Bypass-Light" would constantly flash(!)-what a pain!
