Dual Fans

I bought a dual spal fan setup and the H.D. wiring with a 70 amp relay.My question is can you wire both fans off a 70 amp relay switch.Any info would be greatly apriciated.

Ahhh Spal fans.

I has 2 also, a 14" and a 10" running off a 30amp fuse.

It's probably pushing it but I have not blown one since installing them 2 or so months ago.

My spal fans are 11 inch duals.They are made in a one piece unit.They push 2750 cfm,s.Sounds like the 70 amp relay will work with both fans.I will try it.Thanks for the info Dave!

If you want them both to come on at the same time (simplest method, probably no need to do anything fancier), then wire them in parallel to the relay. Just run the hot wire from each fan to the same contact on the relay, and a large, fused hot wire to the arm of the relay. Ground both fans at a good ground and you're set.
