Abel Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 no its no getting a 460 big block. the name follows the datsun name. its getting a 4.6l sohc mustang motor. project has been piecing together for the last few weeks. got the engine and harness, finally got the zx into the garage and started disassembling it, as far as i am right now i have a few other things left to disconnect and then im ready to pull the inline out of the beast. im still prepping the 4.6l and putting all new seals into it. it looked like it had been in a dirt pile when i got it but i cleaned it up and am getting ready to paint some pieces and coat some others... here are some pictures of the small progress oh yeah.. bbk longtubes cleaning with the intake removed. found out these are stock replacement heads with new cam,valves, springs, timing gear etc. the only thing i dont know is how long theyve been on the engine. a little bit of weight reduction. as progress continues i will update more.
