Guest Fast Frog
Lone Star 1: I saw you LS1 V8Z setup on our member's ride section. Great looking ride and engine setup!! The Questions I have are, Where did you purchase the black ribbed flex air intake hosing that your using from the filter to the intake manifold?? Is it 3" or 4" in dia? I'd like to purchase a length of 4" dia hosing like the one you're using. Thanks! [ May 23, 2001: Message edited by: Fast Frog ] Sorry, I had the wrong "handle"! Guest RyalC
Well I'm not LoneStar1 but I think I know what he used for the tubing. I did the same thing for my Z28 LT1 years ago. The flexible black tubing is used in woodworking for dust collection. It is 4 inch. You can pick it up at any woodworking store(Woodworkers Warehouse, etc.) or order from someone like TrendLines. You can also use one of the ducting adapters to fit perfectly on a K&N filter

Guest Anonymous
Just found and ordered that 4 inch hose. Check out www.grizzly.com. Model number is g1536. Also have clamps for this line #g2974. Mark
Lone Star 1
This is indeed 4" dust collecting tubbing. I found mine at Lowes a big do it yourself store in Texas.
