7MGFORCE
Hi I'm building a small block ford swap and doing the fuel lines. I'm going to run 1/2" aluminum lines for carb application but now I'm stuck. My car is a 260z 1974 early gen and I will be using stock tank but I wanted to use the drain plug as the source of feed line since stock one isonly 5/16. So I figured out that the plug thread is 1/2-20 but what does that equates in NPT? Open to sudgestion on how else I can get a feed line without welding or anything like that. Thanks
evildky
a 1/2" NPT has an OD of about 3/4" remember pipe si sized ont he inside diameter, a 3/8's might fit
evildky
oh wait, you are wanting to use the drain plug to feed, I did this once, terrible fuel stavation, these pans are not baffeled at all!
7MGFORCE
oh wait, you are wanting to use the drain plug to feed, I did this once, terrible fuel stavation, these pans are not baffeled at all! Will the stock feed hole be too restrictive? Since it's carb I was thinking it won't have fuel starvation issues. Any ideas on how else I can get a feed line out of the stock gas line? evildky
I drilled out the n/a adapter as the inside diameter was quite small and still had fuel issues so I sumped my stock fuel tank, no more fuel problems
