Sven
I was curious what some of your experiences have been with have blocks liner'ed. I am looking to make an LD stroker and need the cylinder liners because the LD28 block has a small bore that can't support the overbore. The previous owner built 3.1L in the 240 locked up. I have a 89mm honing brush and spare pistons/rods, but why not make a better "forever" motor while I have it apart? I've already got 2 sets (8) of the longer rods I need, and another fresh set of KA pistons I could have machined. Basically just looking for experiences, rough $$ price, possible issues etc. I've searched and read through what I could find here. I definitely get the concept, and I have talked to a machine shop. I plan on shopping around a bit until I find a place in Albuquerque I'm comfortable with. I just need to know if there are other things I could be missing; i.e. particular liner brands, details that matter, can a place that regularly does Honda blocks do a good job...
