drifterboy240
okay so i got a 71' 240z that i want to lower but am getting kinda confused about coilovers on here, maybe someone can point me in the right direction. okay so i want get my z kinda low and i want to go lower than what most spring and shock combo can do so my only option is going towrds a coilover setup so i have got that in mind and my questions are how much do i have to section out of the strut tube its self, where do i cut it to section it. and number 2 is what is a good shock that can be used when going lower than the 1.5 mark.... if anyone can help thanks in advance, nick
burninator
If you go to the faqs section there is a strut sectioning faq, everything you need to know is in there. I can't give you an answer your question about finding a good strut insert, but I think pretty much any of them should work. Search on it, there is plenty of info on this site.
