Delasangre4231 Posted June 29, 2009 Share Posted June 29, 2009 I have been searching for days and so far I have come up with some info that wasn't quite clear. When swapping an RB20DET into a 280zx you can use RB20 engine mounts by grinding off the locating tabs, also you can use a tranny mount from an auto 280zx? Also I need a RB20 rear sump oil pan? What do I do about oil pickup? Can I use the stock ZX radiator, maybe remove the RB engine fan to run hoses over? Other than that its a matter of plugging in hoses and wires? RS Speed Posted June 29, 2009 Share Posted June 29, 2009 rb20 rear sump pans are almost impossible to find, if you do find one you will need the pickup for that oil pan or you will need to modify your original pickup.
