z31trackcar
First off, I've searched and read all stickied threads. This is a pretty unique build that I'm getting into. I'm looking to swap an RB20 into a Z31 (nothing unique there), but I'm looking to do so with as little of the original chassis wiring as possible. This is not going to be a street legal car. It is going to be a purpose built race car for road racing. Ideally, I would like to have the ECU only connected to the engine and transmission sensors/plugs/injectors/switches. The only exception, of course, would be the ignition switch. I need to know if this is even possible. I'm new to Nissans, so bear with me. I will not be using the stock gauge cluster or anything else like that. I basically only want the ECU to run the engine. Is that possible? Careless
Yeah, it's possible. make a break away harness for the gauges and such, and you'll be ok.
z31trackcar
Sweet! I had already started reading about stand alones and what a relief that I won't have to deal with that. Thanks for the help.
fast-datsun
WE offer a STL wiring conversion that requires on the hook up of 4 wires to make the motor run.
