310z
In your area, the south, I do not suspect a freeze plug issue though it is possible. If you are not able to locate the missing fluid as it sounds. Then it would be getting into the cylinders as many have suggested above and a cracked head is most likly the culpret. There are other areas to check such as a warped head or deck. Then, if the fluid is making it's way to the oil pan unpresurized there is a freeze plug on the inside of the block, that if leaking will fill the oil pan. From the sound of the thred the coolant is disapearing. Then it must be in vapor and that means it is getting to the cylinders. So, you return to a cracked head as the issue and many others have suggested how to go about this issue. Secondly a warped head is more likly than a warped deck, so check the head with a straight edge. If this is the issue. It needs to be shaved.
