biohzrd
your going to laugh but the best way i've found to transport a motor in a truck is to use a couple of old tires. it keeps the engine from moving and also cushions the blows. mobythevan
I can tell you the best way NOT to do it!!! I picked one up from the machine shop and tossed in the back of my volkswagen rabbit. Then I was crankin thru town at about 50mph and the guy in front of me stopped at a yellow light. Not a problem most of the time, but when I stood on the brakes that engine came up front with me. Yep, it toppled the back seat right over. I didn't get hurt, but it was the last engine block I hauled in the rabbit. mobythevan
Guest 400 ci 280z
i was most likely going to put it on a couple tires. that is how i have seen it done a couple times then tie it down securely.
Guest Anonymous
a good bed of tires will work
denny411
also use tie down straps from the engine to all four corners of the bed to make sure that it goes when you go and stops when you stop.
