Guest Anonymous Posted April 3, 2002 Share Posted April 3, 2002 ok the engine is in the car and running. the wiring is about 90% finished with the exception of the taurus fan and the fuel pump. i used the dodge fuel pump switch and i am having a problem with the jumper that powers the pump while cranking. i am using a ford solenoid, does the wire go to the small post? thanks guys for all the help rick Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BAlford Posted April 5, 2002 Share Posted April 5, 2002 Do you have the JTR manual? I am at the same point as you. I have looked at the suggested wiring in the manual and am confused. I am not sure what starter is on the car since we bought a running car and have had to completely rewire the car. It was a show car and the wiring was really buchered. We removed all wiring and rewired with a 1983 wiring harness. I will have my son work on the wiring this weekend and let you know how we come out. We are having a problem with the tach wiring.
